Sergio, did you see the 22 landings from LGA or from the Bronx? Did you listen to ATIS yesterday? I was not at work Saturday but everyone swears 4-22 was closed all day, just curiois?

    Thanks

they could have used the 22 ILS with a circle-to-land on 13. not common, but i've seen it done a few times during my tenure here.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Someone posted that they were using it not too long ago, maybe they were doing it again.

It might be possible that the planes could have circled to 13 but in the late afternoon I saw a couple what seemed to be rwy 22 approaches, a JetBlue A320 and an Comair CRJ with its gears down while I was walking to the store and it seemed like the were approaching 22 but its very possible they could have used the circles to 13 like you said, I could not tell any how. I didnt even have my scanner on while I was at my house but I remembered hearing earlier in the morning that day that the 13s were in used.

Re: LGA Runway Weekend Closeures for the month of June:

    Update for Friday June 26

A little change of pace this weekend.

LGA Runway 13-31 is planned to be closed from 0001 lcl on Sat June 27 thru 1200N lcl on Sun June 28.

Based on forecasted winds LGA will probably be up and down Runway 4 the entire time. Also would not be surprised if they finish earlier on Sunday, based on the last few months experiance.

    Regards

Hopefully they'll still be on 4 (and not 22) for the Southwest arrival.
