The U.S. military is planning to intercept a flagged North Korean ship suspected of proliferating weapons material in violation of a U.N. Security Council resolution passed last Friday, FOX News has learned.

The USS John McCain, a navy destroyer, will intercept the ship Kang Nam as soon as it leaves the vicinity off the coast of China, according to a senior U.S. defense official. The order to inderdict has not been given yet, but the ship is getting into position.

The ship left a port in North Korea Wednesday and appears to be heading toward Singapore, according to a senior U.S. military source. The vessel, which the military has been tracking since its departure, could be carrying weaponry, missile parts or nuclear materials, a violation of U.N. Resolution 1874, which put sanctions in place against Pyongyang. [Full Article]

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.

This should be interesting to watch unfold....

We have the N Korean Cargo ship being intercepted by the USS John McCain which is being shadowed by a Chinese sub which I'm sure is being shadowed by a U.S attack sub. Boys and girls get your popcorn and sit back and watch. Lets see if our Prez has the backbone to go toe to toe with the Koreans... The only thing that I can see stopping him is the 900 long range artillery units the North has that can level Seoul in minutes.

We should just have President Obama, just talk to them, that will make it all better
