JetBlue "Real Blue" A320 Special Scheme

Another special scheme to look out for at JFK:

Do all the JetBlue ships have nicknames? Coming from Cali back in March it was "The Blue Kid In Town" and I have noticed a few others.

All of their planes are named.

Gordon - do you know the N-Number of that jet? Hard to make out in that shot (looks like N778JB, maybe?) and none of the news sources that reported the story include the registration, or provide a close up of it.

Very interesting - I photographed 779 at JFK in April, and she was named "Blue Ribbon". She's their newest A320, received back in March, from what I could tell.

Not sure if they still do it.. but when i worked there.. they would ask the employees to name the plane and if your name got chosen you were able to go to pick up the plane

Delta sponsors the Yankees and Mets, so if anyone might do that it's them, but it doesn't seem likely. They've done decals for the Mets' David Wright and Red Sox David Ortiz.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
