Etihad to Upgrade AUH-JFK to A340-600 for Winter 09/10

According to http://airlineroute.blogspot.com/, Etihad Airways will be upgrading their daily AUH-JFK flight from an A340-500 to the A340-600 for the winter 2009-2010 season. The A340-600 has been coming in to JFK recently more frequently then in the past but still not scheduled.

This means we will definitely have the opportunity to shoot the F1 bird!

    OMG that would be SWEET!
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Driving down Jericho Turnpike in Syosset this afternoon, I could see Rwy 22 arrivals passing by. I heard a jet pass over, and looked out the window, just in time to see this disappear into the clouds and mist:

The bad news is the weather was awful, the good news is it will probably be back again.
