    yes, the army has about 350 on order, and has already accepted deliveries. they're meant to replace the UH-1s and free up more UH-60s in the Guard inventory for combat operations. i've yet to see one up close, though i've heard mixed reviews about them. the navy also has a few on order.
    it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

    Interesting. Looks like quite a few have been delivered already, including two to West Point's aviation detachment (based at SWF) early this year, according to Wikipedia. Won't be unusual to see them flying around the city, I guess.
