Sully Update

For those who have not heard Sully will be throwing out the first pitch at Yankee Stadium on Saturday at the second Exposition game with the Cubs. He, FO Jeff Skiles and one of the three Flt Atts will be honored in pre-game ceromonies.

I was fwd this article/interview tonight from Air and Space and found it very interesting. Take a look.

And finally I will add more when I have more time but I had a special treat at work yesterday. While walking thru the connector over to the Shuttle gates I realized FO Jeff Skiles was walking right past me in the opposite direction. I approached him and introduced myself and as he had some time to kill waiting for his wife and daughter to arrive on a delayed Midwest flight. We ended up talking for about 20 minutes and I found him to be one of the nicest pilots I have met in my career, very down to earth and very into aviation. Again will post more when I have time.
