Qantas OneWorld Scheme Enroute to JFK! March 14, 2009

    Inbound. Go get 'em!

As per our NY based traveling correspondent Tom. She;s leaving LAX now.

Sunny out now, light might be right.

I got to the Mounds about 15 minutes before she arrived. Light sucked by that time, but at least I got her.

While I was waiting for her to arrive, I caught a couple of other interesting visitors.

Brazilian Air Force A319 - this airframe is their equivalent of Air Force 1, it is configured to transport Brazil's president, Lula da Silva . He was in New York on Friday for a Council of the Americas meeting, and met with President Obama today. They came in on 22R, but with the clouds, it wasn't too badly backlit.

That was followed by this Turkish A340, in Star Alliance colors. I didn't even realize Turkish was in SA, and had no idea they had a jet in these colors.

Nice shots moose, beat me to the punch, followed it to the gate after it landed. I got some shots of it. I also got the brazilian government plane also, was parked over by hanger 19.

Great shots even despite the light!
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

    Clouds bad. Shots good. :)
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
