    Open Skies "Mistral" Airlines

I saw a British Airways B752 arrive yesterday at JFK. What's strange is that it came from Orly and is flown by "Open Skies ". I never heard of this airline before. Is this a charter? The call-sign is BOS 1.

Open Skies is a version of British Airways that has been coming into JFK for a while now. Almost any look at spotting threads will show you the aircraft coming in a lot.

Think of Open Skies as British Airways that flies from other European destinations besides London to New York. They were supposed to add more planes and more destinations in the US, but AFAIK those plans are on hold.....

They are selling it as more premier "experience" with lots more legroom and of course higher prices.
Flying is not dangerous; crashing is dangerous.
