Ryanair may charge for toilet use on planes

LONDON (Reuters) – Irish carrier Ryanair, Europe's largest budget airline, might start charging passengers for using the toilet while flying, chief executive Michael O'Leary said on Friday.
"One thing we have looked at in the past and are looking at again is the possibility of maybe putting a coin slot on the toilet door so that people might actually have to spend a pound to spend a penny in future," he told BBC television.

    Ha!! I called it!

Their game plan is to have a stomach virus on the onboard peanuts. Once that gravy train starts a running, RyanAir is gonna be making some serious bucks on its flights!
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...

Most of Ryanair's other cut-amenities on flights are to simplify to save money or reduce weight on the plane to also save money. Here, I see no benefit other than nickel and diming everyone.

Just by charging a fee people will be less likely to use the rest room, which would reduce the amount of water and lav juice they have to carry. Still, I would say this is practically a human rights violation and the bad PR they get from this will completely backfire. I wouldn't be surprised if this sort of thing were to be outlawed.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.

Meanwhile, some genius gets the bright idea to soil himself out of spite, sues the airline for public humiliation, and wins $1,000,000 to compensate for his "losses". Get it? "Losses"?

    Ok, I'll leave.

If everyone uses the loo before flight, it's that much less weight everyone would be carrying along on the flight.
