TV At the JFK Delta Terminal
I recall that pre-9/11, when visitors were allowed into JFK's Delta Terminal, that at each gate, a TV monitor was always on. I recall often seeing Larry King interviews. My question is what channel that was. It was not CNN but had a different call-sign. It was some sort of closed-circuit channel shown only at airports. Does anybody know the name of that channel? I wonder if Delta still has TV monitors at each gate or if that was stopped to save cash. Since I stayed at T3 sometimes for 10 hours straight, I appreciated being able to view the telecasts. I took over 4 hours of Video 8 tapes every weekend then. As you know, each gate has large windows with unobstructed views of the action on the tarmac. It was also the Terminal, that pre-Pan Am 103, allowed everyone up on the rooftop parking. This message was placed here as TV stations are really not aviation-related.

Re: TV At the JFK Delta Terminal
It's called the CNN Airport Network, and it is at many airports around the country. We have at the gates and Food Court at the US Terminal at LGA, and have had it for quite a few years. In our Ramp Tower we have only had TV's for about 5 or 6 years. Prior to that and the internet I watched many History making live new stories on those CNN screens over the years.
