If you think out of the box and think "green" i feel it makes a lot of sense to use some thing as big as a 747 as a hotel/hostel.
As the 747s are replaced with A380s countless will exist and instead of scrapping them turning them in to hotels and giving them a 2nd life is great.
The same could be done with other wide bodied jets and in some way it could give cheap housing to homeless people or families or it could provide a cheap homes for key workers who can't afford to buy a normal house.
