B-52 Bomber over NYC today... (11am)

Well, did anyone else see the B-52 Bomber today over New York just after 11am... ??
    Fairly low too.. :D

Quite a sight. Curved over the harbor and then flew up the Hudson.

There was another one that did this last month as well.

I simply can't remember a B-52 over NYC ever before this summer...

Hope to see one again...providing they aren't taking our measure for some type of Cloverfield event.

Bill - you would've had a good view. I'd be very interested in any information.

Again, this is a repeat event this summer, and it's unprecedented.

He changed course a couple of times as well...lots of black smoke at that point. At one time I thought it was going to veer over and maybe get onto the EWR approach, but that didn't happen obviously.

Sounds like a wonderful sight, never seen one fly.

Over the last 30 odd years in London we've had Lancaster bombers flying over with Spitfires on special occassions.

In spring 2001 i was walking over the wobbly millenium bridge when i saw Concorde fly over wow that was an awsome sight..

it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Maybe it was returning from an airshow... either from Westover ARB or NAS Brunswick?
