Sweet shots and you are so right about the memories your son will cherish!

Assuming that is a Stearman biplane(army), is that the one owned by the vineyard owner?
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Great shots, Fred, sorry I couldn't get out there today. Glad Nick got to fly the Cub, maybe it will awaken a love of aviation in him!

Interesting to see a Tomahawk there, you don't see many of them around any more, and I learned to fly on them way back when. And contrary to what Midnight Mike might tell you, I did not get my check ride from the Wright Brothers. The guy who gave me my check ride did, but not me!

    Great shots Fred,
Being around all the big airports a lot one can easily forget those unique opportinities.

    Lots of green space too.

    Fred,

It was great to meet you finally after viewing your work online all over the place! Great shots! I see I'm in a few...walking the right wing of the Aeronca and the Pheasant (me in the tan cap) out to the flight line. It was my first picnic as a member, and as a volunteer.

I had a great time. Hope to bump in to you again.
