Iran Air 747SP Probably Returning to NYC/JFK

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on state television that he would again go to New York to attend this year's United Nations General Assembly session. It will be Ahmadinejad's third trip to New York since his presidency in August 2005.

The meetings traditionally occur in September and October.

According to the UN web site, http://www.un.org/ga/63/meetings63.shtml the opening of the General Assembly is Tuesday, September 16. I would expect most of the visitors will be arriving over that previous weekend.
