Stewart Airport feeling brunt of airline industry slump

More comments about SWF and the drop off of flights, which some are calling just seasonal.

"Earlier this month, JetBlue Airways announced it would end service from Stewart to West Palm Beach, Fla., as well as drop a second daily flight to Orlando, Fla., on Sept. 2. U.S. Airways will reduce its number of daily flights from the New Windsor airport (SWF) to Philadelphia from five to three on Oct. 1."

Seasonal is right...as I mentioned before, JetBlue will bring back its second SWF-MCO flight by thanksgiving. I don't know about the rest though.

Daytona Beach is getting the full force as well. Two airlines pulled out within six months of each other!
