I saw a report on FOX News, that there was a small fire last week up in the JFK Tower. It started in the A/C Unit. Some staff were evacuated while others elected to stay. It disrupted flights for up to an hour. Does anybody know about this? The date or time? I think it was in the AM hours.
It was last Wednesday, late afternoon/early evening I believe.

It was right before the Red's performance (around 6:30pm). We noticed a lack of JFK traffic in the air for a brief period of time.
