Well what a better way to get a few extra 757s, an established customer base, facilities, and a product that is already up and running. I'm not to surprised after they announced the code share deal a couple months ago.
Im gonna miss the L'Avion colors but I think they will do very well withh Openskies.. Sounds like a good buy.. Whos going to take the Newark-Orly slot? or is the slot going to be at JFK?

Not bad. I would imagine they'll shift the L'Avion flight to JFK so OpenSkies can say they have twice daily service, but who knows.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
I to will miss their cool scheme but I am much happier to see this option than another niche carrier fail, hopefully all the employees will be offered jobs with Open Skies or BA.
Cheers

Well, at least we wont have to see another luxury airline go out of business
