These are from the Yankee Game :borat:and a wicked lightning storm last night. This is my first time shooting lightning so constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.

Your lightning photos are far, far better than the first time I tried it :)
That last frame is sick!
Your lightning shots are far better then the ones I attempted to last night!
However there weren't many visible bolts and instead a lot, a lot of flashes.
Great photos.
With a lightning storm, you can almost tell how many good pictures you can get right away. Yesterday, most of the bolts were inside clouds so they weren't visible. However, Sunday's storm had a lot more visible bolts.
For lightning pics, personally I like to use my P&S since it's easier to move and adjust.
@Gordon, yeah it was all C+C but I was hoping to get one like this. It worked!
@Heeshung, I was using the bulb setting and not just hoping to get it.

And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Thanks Eliot, I was born and raised a Yankee fan. Been to two of their three perfect games, David Cone and Wells. Thanks all for the comments.

Despite being a Mets fan those are some great baseball shots. Same for the lightning...have any more to share with us?
