it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Kind of ironic since Kalitta Air just got a new 747-400 to replace the 747-100.

I shot the plane at JFK last June:

[airliners34386[/airlinersThe aircraft actually operated JFK-BRU last night and was on its way to BAH and DXB when it crashed.

Yesterday I happened to see their new 747-400 at EWR, pretty bird.

whats amazing to me is how the plane did not engulf into flames... if i read correctly the plane was on take off roll and aborted, laden with fuel ..with all the damage nothing punctured the wings....just amazing...
anyone else have thoughts on this....

My theory: The fuel tanks were accidentally filled with water, which is what caused the plane to stall. :)

Any updates on the possible causes they are looking at?

I personally think it was an overweight issue pertaining to the cargo they were carrying.

I read the pilots heard a loud bang before the crash, which leads me to think maybe some cargo shifted and threw off the CoG.

I just heard that he ABORTED takeoff. I didn't know that. I just thought he overran it during the roll, and not after an abort.
