    A Different Airline Management Game

A while back, http://www.airlineempires.net was posted here. But registration problems with them got me frustrated. I got hooked on that kind of game, so I tried searching for a similar site. Now my registration for http://www.airlineempires.net has been straightened out, but in the meantime, I've discovered http://www.airlinemogul.com Airline Mogul seems to be a lot more intuitive and more logical, and I highly favor Airline Mogul over Airline Empires. It is in Euros, however, but I got used to it after a while.

They recently launched multiworlds, and I'm currently in World 3. World 3 is set back in the 1960's and 1970's.

The name of my airline is NexxJet Airways.

AM is an exponential game. And you've just moved up another spot. Multiworlds, as they call it, is not that old, believe it or not. Their beta testing ended in the beginning of April, and multiworlds commenced about a week and a half after that.

Leasing aircraft is a great way to get your airline off the ground.

I just joined the Airline Alliance Group (W3). I will not launch service into Europe until I can get an Aircraft to cross the Atlantic, but I have options!

I've expanded a little bit. I don't like to lease aircraft so I am just buying them:

    Northwest Air International - NWI

    Daily Operating Profit: €272,175
    Monthly Operating Profit: €3,698,537
    Airline Value: €9,839,122

    Fleet: 6 CASA C212-300's

    Routes:

    DTW-CLT (9x daily)
    DTW-MDW (10x daily)
    DTW-CLE (2.5 daily)
    DTW-MSP (7x daily)
    nwa FOREVER!

You're not going to get far with frequencies higher than one, unless the airports are really close together. I suggest you take those frequencies down to one and use the extra time to expand to other airports.

By the way, nwafan20, is that N661US in your avatar? I hope it is; I have a weird personal attraction and longing for that plane.

    Hmm, that sounded strange... :P

    Ok, I will try that.

And I do believe it is 661 actually.

Re: A Different Airline Management Game

My DOP finally hit EUR 900,000. I have had some financial woes, so what I have done was increase the airfares. It also will cost you EUR 50 to buy alcohol on my airline. Doesn't that sound familiar in the real world?

Eos went through a little bit of a restructuring...

    True Blue Air - TBL

    Daily Operating Profit: €278,447
    Monthly Operating Profit: €3,774,658
    Airline Value: €7,765,903

    Fleet: 3x DHC-6-300
    Sky Blue
    Big Blue
    Too Blue for you

    Routes:

    LGA To the Following
    DTW (.5)
    CLE (2)
    YYZ (1)
    ORD (1)
    IAD (4)
    BOS (5)
    CLT (3)

I have done all of the other calculations and with these Frequencies, I am turning out the best DOP.
