Nothing official on today's announcement, but...
The company on Wednesday told its pilots union that it had revised its flight schedule, that 35 pilots would be laid off and that 22 would receive position and pay downgrades, said Paul Sweet, a first officer with Midwest and a spokesman for the Air Line Pilots Association.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.

Here's anothe airline that should have taken the Air Tran bid to merge. While I would have missed their level of service Air Tran would have expanded MKE and kept jobs. I'd wager that if Midex starts to hurt and goes into Chap 11 watch Air Tran move in to buy them.
