707 Window Seat takeoff view videos

Stumbled across these gems on youtube and thought some of you might enjoy. Although my first airline flight was on a DC-8 and have flown on an 8 at least 15 times (DL, NA, UA, Northeastern, and Rich International) I never got to fly on a 707. As I am guessing there are many on this site that have not either I figured this is the next best thing, Enjoy !

I have the opposite problem. I have flown the 707 several times, including JFK to SYD the long way around, but never a DC-8.

    last time i flew on a 707 i was 6 weeks old ,TWA, IDL-LAX, Oct,1960. last time on a DC-8,i was jumpseating from TOL-LAX on an ATI DC-8-61F,back in'98.
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
