    Diversions to JFK 2.4.08

    Hey guys,

We have crap weather out here, so I have been tracking diversions out of DTW, ORD, MDW, etc.

Believe it or not, you guys got some diversions from ORD. So far I have found:

    Nippon Air Cargo 166: ANC-(ORD)-JFK
    Aeromexico 682: MEX-(ORD)-JFK

Those are the only ones I have seen for you guys so far, I am sure there were more. If anyone knows of any more, feel free to post them.

The NCA is a scheduled cargo flight to JFK which stops in ORD.

It's pretty rare to see diversions TO JFK, no?

they have thier own staff here, there are hotels available in the area, whereever the airplane will sit is already payed for. those are only a few resons.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Cancidas is right. It was a weather diversion, nto an emergency "we need to get this plane on the ground now" diversion. They needed to make a decision based on what's based for the airline's operations.
