Gotta give it to Dell

At my last job we had all Dell computers, and they were great! They did have some problems, but tech support was out next day to take care of what ever the issue was. Stay with Dell, you will not be sorry.

Any other thoughts on Dell laptops?

I have a Dell Inspiron 9300. The wide screen 17" is awesome and I use it for my editing. It gets alot of us and it has held up well. I think I paid in the neighboorhood of $1300 2 years ago. Check Dells site for the current prices with the things you want in it.
