    1) Family Guy - Phil did nail the reason, (and I'm the proud owner of all 4 season's DVD's)
    2) CSI - The original...a great cast of basic unknowns carrying a show for 8 seasons now. And just when you think they've covered the wierdest possible situation, here comes another one.
    3) CSI - New York - A better known cast, writing is just as good, and it's cool to see places you know of on TV.
    4) NCIS - Cote de Pablo...enough said.
    5) Seinfeld - Name another TV show, where people are still quoting lines from a show that ended 5+ years ago.

Seinfeld is alone in that regard in recent years..but its up against game shows, reality shows, infomercials, sports talk shows etc.. Not that much being produced that will be memorable. Which is odd, because modern "sit-coms" rely more on one-liners..clever jokes and word play..generally - the "characters" walk through their lines on one take, as if they were stand up comedians like Jerry Sienfeld..no need for even a modicum of "acting" ..in a way, it probably renders the lines less memorable..and, besides, most are just vulgar (which might not matter if they were funny enough..)

Well, as you get older, you need friends from the same generation, but we do enjoy quoting some stuff...

All in the Family - Edith: "Archie - Little Emmanuel is in the kitchen. Archie: "Aw don't worry Edith, he won't steal anything"

HoneyMooners: "How to Core A Apple"

I Dream of Jeannie: Dr Bellows, in incredulous tone: "Magic Tricks, .....at Carnegie Hall?"

Yeah, I know, "you had to be there"... :D

I was never fond of the Star Trek quotes...but one of the most prevalent: "He'd Dead, Jim"

    Tom
    "Keep 'em Flying"

I remember the show with Sally Struthers and a few other orphan girls, I forgot the name but the show was late 1970's or maybe early '80's when they flew on board a TWA 747-100 with the hollow titles, it was a beautiful moment until they showed Sally Struthers... bluahhhhh!!! :x
