I was looking at Google Maps and saw a new colors Northwest 747-400 parked at a gate at T4's Concourse B.
Out of curiosity, when did they pull this service? I wish I had a chance to see their colors 744 up close.

I believe it was September of 2005 I am not 100% sure though. I do know that they plan on using the 787 for the JFK-NRT route when they come on line.

I agree with the others, I really do miss seeing the Northwest 747-400 at JFK. Hopefully the 787 will have as much as a presence as the 2xdaily 747-400s had.
