International service would be good, but I think ISP needs to get other domestic carriers in, such as AirTran, United, and Continental, along with upgrading the service they already have...Delta and US Airways, in my opinion would need bigger aircraft (Delta: MD-88, US Airways: A320).
Basically, for RyanAir to fly out of ISP successfully, you need domestic carriers to feed the international service, or people will just continue going to JFK or EWR. This is just how I look at it, however, I am always wrong, or at least I think I am.

That is exactly the point of what this topic is about for a domestic carrier to feed, if rumors are true the domestic carrier would be Southwest Airlines.

Also, your forgetting Ryan Air can connect from their own hubs onto this flight, not just domestically.

Ryan you really are well I won't say it...but don't you think that if other airlines thought they could make ISP work they'd be there? WN invested the time and money and they have the market share there, like they have market share, big deal. If you want to talk about viruses....well US really needs some medicine.

Alex, I understand...but ISP can barely hold onto any other service that other airlines throw at them. They have had more airlines pull out of ISP in the past few years then come in and the only airline to come in was WN. Yes, SWA has a lot of service, but not all the service ISP needs for international connections in my opinion.
ISP is mainly a regional airport with RJ service. DL and US would need to show more confidence with ISP using bigger jets for their service.
