There was a news story yesterday about a "4 County Concept" which the FAA claims will increase capacity for local airports. Residents of Rockland County are furious about this. Exactly what is this concept? Evidently it will channel aircraft over outlying counties but how would this assist in airport capacity? Local airports still can only use the same runways for arrivals and departures.
