    Kids Day at LGA

Regarding Kids Day at LGA, please confirm it's coming on Sat. Sept 28 around 9 AM at the Marine Air Terminal. Since I'll be coming by bus, I'm not sure if the Q33 bus stops at the MAT. Does anybody know?

Thanks. That's a problem for me as only the Q33 passes the subway at 74th Ave Station. The M60, Q48 and Q47 are hard to get to. Could I hike over from the CTA ?

I believe the Q47 also stops near 74th street near the 7 train. I used to take that bus when i got off the E train. It goes only to the Marine Air Terminal. See I have to take the bus too but im coming from the Bronx so i got to hop on the M60 bus from the Lex Ave/125th street subway.

If you take the Q33 bus, it does connect to the Q47 around 82st and Astoria Blvd. Thats another way you can get to the MAT i believe

Where the Q33 Boards at the 74th Steet Subway Station is on the first island, the Q47 Boards at the third and outermost island, and it is marked.

On a side note US is planning on having an A-319 on display again, probably not a Special Scheme aircraft as the Star Alliance one 3 years ago caused a lot of confusion.

    Cheers

Or just go to the CTB then take a blue or red bus to the MAT.

It is on September 29th, not the 28th.

For the Q33, the above suggestion about getting off at 82nd and Astoria is accurate, but there's no need to connect....it's hardly a 3 minute walk from there.

If they are landing on runway 4 or departing 22 that morning, you can easily take the Q33 to Planeview Park, which is a block from that 82nd St stop, and when it's Kids Day time, just walk around.
