Delta 757s with winglets at Orlando

Delta recently acquired two former TWA 757s from American Airlines. These two aircraft (N702TW & N703TW) had winglets installed and have Delta's new livery.

Both aircraft arrived at Orlando today (Sept 1st) for the first time. I am not sure, but yesterday or today may have been the first day in service with Delta.

Thanks. These aircraft should be making regular trips to JFK. Both flew JFK-MCO-JFK today.

Yep, both were at JFK on Aug. 30 around 1440.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Great shots, Steve. We did see N702TW this afternoon, unfortunately, with all of us at Firestone for 31R arrivals, she arrived on 31L

Those things are a little peice of heaven. I cannot wait for the 737-700 to be delivered and to see the 763 joining the bent wing club. Another little upgrade to be on the look out for in the fleet is the 737-800 is getting the eyebrow plus. I flew on one home from CVG a few days ago.

They are to be referred to as former TWA 757s! Calling them any other name is blasphemy! ;) Good catches.

Cool. Are the pink DL and blue 767 still in those colors? Those I still need to get.

Yesturday I think I saw a DL 777 in the new c/s from far away, and a DL 763 from closer range. I definitely like the tail more than the wavy gravy stuff.

Another Kaliningrad Avia made a refueling stop on delivery. All this on Sunday, Sept. 9.

    Yes they are.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
