Air France to Discontinue Daylight JFK Flight on Sept 29

As of September 29th Air France will discontinue their recently started daylight flight from JFK. AF4 arrived at JFK around 11:00pm and AF5 departed around 7:50am the next morning.

Air France will also be switching out one of the 777-200 flights with the freed up A330-200.

Flights are discontinuing due to weaker then expected loads.

It's a shame, I was really hoping to get on this flight in November when I go to Madrid. The departure time from CDG gives you basically a whole day in Madrid catching one of the last flights to CDG.

Ah, so that's why AF screwed up my itinerary. I was booked on AF004 on Oct 21, but they moved me to an earlier flight. Ticked me off, 'cause I was planning a long layover in Paris to show my girlfriend around the city some, but they just chopped my time in-city in half.
