Goodyear Blimp now at FRG

Well looks like the Metlife blimp is gone and now the Goodyear blimp is docked at FRG.

N3A departed at 2:54 from FRG, cut across Runway 19 and headed out NW into LGA airspace.

She indeed did crossing the feild from south to north at 1500 feet and than headding upstate.

To be honerst I am not too sure. He left our airspace and that was the end of it for me. I will keep an ear out till I go off duty.

The Goodyear blimp which we are affectionately calling Rosie within the confines of the tower is orbiting about a mile to the Southeast of LGA and inside the arc of the Expressway visual which is in use right now. I wonder what pax on the planes are thinking as they see this blimp headded at them only a mile or two from the plane as they make the turn.
