    Virgin America JFK Unicom

    If anyone is interested, Virgin America's JFK Unicom is 129.6
    My company has the same freq here in ISP and we are close enough to hear the aircraft call in range.
    Heard VRD624 call in a few minutes ago with a great line...
    "Where do we park when we get there? I heard it's a hardstand or something?"
    I can't wait for them to get up & running, I will be flying them my next trip out West.

    Looks like they will start SFO-JFK next wed (Aug 8), and on Aug. 29, it will begin LAX-JFK. Another new visitor for us.

    On a slightly related note, they already have their bright blue and red gate sign installed at LAX. It was very amusing to see it surrounded by United gates. :lol:
