spotting at ISP

Is there any good places to spot at ISP? If so, where are they located?

unless you work here...No. The SCPD is over-zealous in their patrolling of the area. There is a bank on the corner of Vets (454) & Lakeland, but they have signs up stating bank business only. There have been many horror stories over the last few years about spotting here. It's a shame too, because before 9/11 there was a parking area on the side on Smithtown Ave which was open which they allowed spotting from. Sept. 12, 2001 they put up blockades there and no parking signs.

There are some spots where you can go on the weekend in the industrial park and not a mouse will bother you but its not worth it, nothing good comes in.

The SCPD can be a bit over zealous but don't let that deter you. Act normal and have ID on you. As for spots there are a few if you find them. For 6 arrivals and 24 departures the bank is a great spot. For 33 arrivals you can park on Vets near that motel and when you hear them on final drive up a bit and park they go right past you for a perfect side on with good light. I also parked in one of those lots on Smithtown av and had a perfect spot for 33 departures tho you have a split second to get the shot once it clears the building. If you have a car go find the spots they are there. Too bad the traffic is limited.
