    Callsign ": Mercury"

    I couldnt find this posted anywhere , forgive me if Its already been discussed . I hear the Callsign Shuttlecraft has been replaced by Mercury at least for the Shuttle America's RJ operation , not sure about the turboprop side of things

    All of Uniteds shuttles from JFK have been changed to Mercury, This has been in effect for about 2 weeks

    Shuttle America currently flies only the 170.

    great call sign, Americans original DC-3 coast to coast service in the 1930's bore the same moniker.
    The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
