More details have emerged...

• A flight attendant thought a passenger on board was a man she had seen escorted to the plane by an employee vehicle via the ramp, implying that he had not gone through proper security screening.

• The passenger was of "Middle Eastern" appearance.

• After 4 hours of the guy sitting in his seat and not blowing anything up, the crew decided he might be a bad guy and they had to land.

• After being escorted off the plane by authorities and questioned, it turned out he had gone through normal TSA screening at LAX.

• He's actually an Executive Platinum level traveler.

• AA's marketing team is working feverishly to devise a new rare element to which this guy's status can be elevated. Latest word is that he will be the world's first AAdvantage Emperor Triple Uranium flyer.
