    Classic DC3 at KPBI

    Was driving past this afternoon - unfortunately, it was cloudy - not good at all, but managed to catch this classic DC3 just departing...

    I earned a living for 10 years in those graceful,beautiful ships. God's grace I still get to fly them at airshows.
    The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
