US Helicopter Changes Landing Location

US Helicopter no longer lands at the AA termianl, but in between terminals 4 and 3....right there inthe alleyway, but moreso onthe Delta side.

Nice views of it from the AirTrain or T4 departure level.

I'm curious as to why they switched. I haven't heard anything.

AA needs the space supposedly and discontinued their alliance with USH completely. USH is now partnered with Delta. See here: http://www.nycaviation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6462

There was a thread on it a little while ago. Apparently, DL signed on with US Helicopter (not sure if AA dropped them completely or what).

The gate relocation had something to do with that, along with the fact that AA needed the gate that US Helicopters was using for one of it's 777...
