Chilling footage of a test performed by the U.S. Marines at Quantico, Va., displaying the catastrophic damage caused to a pressurized DC-10 fuselage by a small bomb identical to the shoe bomb nearly detonated by Richard Reid. As bad as it looks when tested sitting stationery on the ground, imagine what it would be like at 40,000 feet and 500mph...the plane would likely disintegrate almost instantly.
