Nice shots! I would have loved to get out there with you this morning, but I'm not really a morning person, and I had other plans today anyway. Maybe someday I'll manage to get out and catch the morning crowd.

Thanks! Phil, that morning Jamaica Bay breeze would have woken you up in a real hurry. I know it did the trick for us today. Lol

Yeah man it was cooold this morning, but worth it for some of the shots. I must say, Mark brought some incredible spotter's luck with him from Florida. Between Habitat, Alitalia New c/s, Wunala Dreaming (though Ken was the only one that caught it!) it was really a treat. It was awesome to meet all of you yesterday and definitely looking forward to some more spotting with y'all.

Also, did any of the guys shooting at the Mounds yesterday shoot a Republic (DL Connection painted) ERJ? I got two decent shots of N568RP and it has some kind of "800th" marking painted across the side of the fuselage, but it's a very light blue and would be easy to miss if not zoomed in. I know a lot of people think "eh it's just another RJ", but I'm curious if anyone else shot it. I'll post a pic when I have the chance (and energy) to do some editing. I guess that's why they say "shoot everything"...

Great spotting with you guys! BTW, Ken, great shots of the 4L departures! Looking forward to seeing the rest of yours and Mark's!

Ok, I've finished up my shots from JFK from 5/5; all are here; here are some of the better ones:

This guy was a bit of a surprise:

And this was the "catch of the day":

Unfortunately, this was the view we got of Wunala Dreaming as she went in for a 13L landing:

    Great shots Phil!

Here are a few of mine from both Saturday afternoon at the Mounds & Sunday morning at Bayswater

    http://s170.photobucket.com/albums/u...rk%205-6-2007/

From Bayswater (wish the light was better, but what can ya do):
    South African A340

    LAN 763

    Etihad A345

    Emirates 773

Alitalia Cargo MD-11 in New Colors!

    From the Mounds:
    Alitalia 772

    Swiss A330

    Air India 744

    Republic ERJ "800th" Paint Scheme

As you saw above from Phil, we missed Qantas's Wunala Dreaming 744 as she went to 13L instead of 22L, but looking forward to seeing Ken's shots!

And finally, my catch of the day: Delta's Habitat for Humanity 763!

Thanks again to everyone for a great weekend of spotting!

and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Thanks Mario! For a non-DSLR camera, I was surprised at how nice some of those came out.

Some of my pictures from the weekend...

Definately - the next two are my highlights of the weekend...

And, to borrow the style of photo from the person who gave it the name - the Ron-Peel-LGA shots - arrival on the Expressway Visual and departure off 13...
