    AirCraft: The Jet As Art

This afternoon I received a late Easter present from my mothers friend.

My present was a book with a Southwest 737-700 on the cover and multiple aircraft on the back. The planes are shot from the bottom so you have a view looking straight at the under belly of the aircraft. The book is filled with interesting aircraft and it becomes evident to the knowing spotter that all pictures were taken at LAX under the landing lights.

My favorite part of the book is the main centerfold in which a Virgin Atlantic A340-600 appears from a side view and the aircraft is G-VGOA which I photographed last week departing.

I highly suggest picking up a copy!

Gordon, could you post a few photos from pages of the book? I was interested in seeing it. I think it was also an art exhibit somewhere.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

The photographer indeed had is own exhibit here in L.A., but I think it's complete RUBBISH and elected to forego seeing it while his photos were up. Honestly, so many of the members of nyca can do a LOT better than this guy...
