Trans Atlantic Airlines L1011

Does anyone know when the L1011 for TAA is going to start flying into JFK? I remember there was a thread here but can't seem to find it.

It would be nice if it were true to see TriStar service to NY/NJ again, and I always thought we would, but with each passing year, it seems more unlikely.

We were supposed to get a Scottish Airline into JFK, and a Bolivian one into JFK and then there was this one you are referring to with service to Africa.

Last I knew, TAA was considered by many to be a scam... like those emails from Nigeria that ask for your bank account # to transfer funds to your acct for safekeeping... :) Whether that was true or not, I don't know, but don't hold your breath.

There's been an ex-DL TriStar getting work done in VCV. Interior has been cleaned up and decals have been applied, but it doesn't look like much else is happening.
