A few weeks ago Al Sharpton spoke up a bit. Now Russell Simmons.

Could this be the beginning of a cleaning up of the thugged out community?

It's all pandering...until Rev. Al uses his famous line.. "We will mobilize a force" nothing will be said again.

I think its to soon to say if the rap community will clean up its act. The end result is if people still buy their music they will continue to use the words they use.

Jesse Jackson is *still* to this day obsessed with a Rolling Stones record from 1978. Almost as if he was a wilfully ignorant and can't understand satire.

Thats a looooong reach back through time for someone as who has turned into a trendy racial ambulance chaser. Seens he's missed out on alot music in the later years.

Sharpton and Jesse Jackson as Ministers of Culture? Seems like a stretch to me.
