    Great TWA Connie Video and TWA @ JFK Video

    Forget about that special MSNBC had on a month or two ago "Inside Ameican Airlines." This video is just that but back in the 50s. WATCH IT! Its amazing how some things don't change. Wild video!!!

    oh god, radial! i miss that sound! can't wait for airshow season...


    i can't believe they used to rip apart and rebuild constellations in 6 days. i wish i was around back then, beats what i'm doing now hands down!
    it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

    This is pushing me to digitize the video I shot when I flew the Super Connie from MKC to JFK in 2000 for the TWA 75th anniversary. I got a few minutes in the captain seat in flight and it was a hoot...

    I have some photos--will try to get them posted somewhere.

    The best part was the SIDA clearance I got for the 3 days the plane was at JFK--I was a member of Save A Connie at the time and did tour guide duty while she was there.
