Looks like the Q's are becoming very popular as the RJ numbers are getting smaller and smaller. Predictions call for less then 1000 RJs in the U.S this year.
oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh baby. Wonder what my odds are (rubs hands together...

Any idea what the routes will be from EWR? This is probably replacing some ExpressJet RJ service in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region, which I am sure some pax will not be happy about. Most passengers will always prefer the RJ, but in many cases economics greatly favor a modern turboprop, and the Q400 has some noise and vibration reducing technology that make it more bearable. It's nice to see what used to be called 'propjets' making a little comeback considering that just a few years ago, they were on their way out in most US markets.
This will be a great looking plane for sure. I cannot wait to see a few. Now if Peidmont would spend a little loot and pick up a few so we can get rid of some of these AirWisconsin CRJ's because their pilots are birdbrains.
