JFK is getting real close to LGA in terms of movements. I do not remember JFK ever having more movements than LGA. I wonder if 2007 is the year this will happen?
Yeah, pretty crazy. JFK grew by about 34,000 operations...that's 93 extra flights per day.
It's also interesting to consider how we tend to think our airports are pretty damn busy, yet JFK and LGA combined don't have as much traffic as ATL or ORD.
