    TEB or Linden?

Does anyone here go over to teterburo or linden airport for spotting?
If so how is it there?
    High trafic volumes?

I go to TEB frequently. It's very busy, especially the week after Thanksgiving.

Linden just has the usual mix of Cessna's, Piper's and a few of the news/traffic helicopters.

It's just corporate jets, with the odd Cessna 208 thrown in. You just have to drive round until you find somewhere unfortunately. The cops throw you out of all the good spots!

linded is a very slow airport by most standards. it's high on training flights, and has a few news helicopters based there.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

There is a small park on what I believe is the east end (Turnpike side) of the airport if you follow the perimeter. You are at the end of the runway there.

You should be able to shoot approaches there if they're landing from that direction.

I have about three shots from that location if you look them up on A.net you will see what the vantage point looks like.

If you drive in the main entrance, I can tell you it does not look conducive to shooting. I forget the details, but signs everywhere; seems overly security conscious if you get what I mean.

Liberty Helicopters is based there, so you will see them. They are the fleet that does the monster share of the tourist flights around manhattan.

A co-worker told me a black hawk landed there a few months ago. Perhaps that happens regularly, I don't know.

Also remember hearing advertising blimps may have visited from time to time, but of course, if thats so, it would be in the summer.

    Good luck..
