All in all pretty good year for me. I've got more than 10 top pictures in 2006. I'll try to post only most important things, but its gonna be hard to pick only few :)

I have to split my stuff in two categories. "Catch of the year/needed frame", and "Special colors and markings"
My two most important planes that I've got in 2006 are China Air Force B733 and USX PSA CRJ-700 in Star Alliance colors. For this PSA CRJ I drove over 6 hours each way just to get it :) Enjoy :)

Since I have too many to choose from so I went with the most obvious choice and will post one shot.. it might as well have been 10.

Here are my top 10, in no particular order. They are a mix of unusual or rare (at least for me) subjects, and shots that I just really like :D

From way back last January - USAF C-20 arriving at LGA

I think most of you have seen this before...maybe my favorite shot from 2006

Why I like the JFK cargo area

My first time seeing AF1, almost missed this shot

How does an airplane with vertical take off and landing capabilities overrun the runway?

    First JetBlue visit to FRG

Fat Albert making a run at the beach!

A smoky pass on Pearl Harbor Day

A couple from the Tomcat's farewell visit in June

OK, so I lied, here's number 11 - Last Time, Baby!

    Here are my top choices...

I love this pose by T7 (this was AA167 coming from hard stand to gate for my 14h 20m hop to RJAA!)

Highlight of WSSS spotting... I even let go georgeous WMKK to arrive overnight to shoot this bird.... my first sighting :D

I love special colors, especially when they are in perfect light & angle.

    Another superb colorscheme...

And this was @ Singapore! GA has 7 flights in 3 hours with 737/330/and even 747!

    WMKK is simply AMAZING

    My favourite airline :D

Intersection Departures are great @ WMKK :D , even greater when its Star Alliance going back for a long 43 mins hop back to WSSS!

How can one go wrong from such a view from the hotel room!

Habiscus just leaving terra ferma as MH001 to London (long haul flights rotate just in front of you :D )

    CYYZ in June,

Note the KLM Jumbo lifting off the parallel!

Happy New Year to all and wishing sunny skies & good spotting 2007 to the members.

Happy new year to all and happy spotting thru-out 2007.

No, I rarely use automatic - I usually use Aperture priority when shooting. Looking at the exif from the shots that day, it looks like that was how I was shooting.
