O'Hare Virtually Closed Due To Winter Storm

About a foot of snow has fallen in Chicago overnight and today. FedEx freighter slid off the runway overnight. Northwest Cargo hit by lightning while taxiing. Hundreds of cancellations. Somehow Southwest still operating normal schedule at Midway.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Yeah well on this side of the nation it was a pretty fun day too. I just got in on what was scheduled to be in at 5 from the BUF. What a fun ride on the Dash-8-200! Defineately was worth it. The wind was amazing but the trusty old Dash pulled herself through it .

You'd think they'd have learned already about snow ops at MDW.
