    Boeing wins $5.7 billion order

FRANKFURT (Reuters) -- Air Berlin, Germany's No. 2 airline, said on Tuesday it would order 60 Boeing 737-800 jets.

The airline said 85 planes would be delivered between 2007 and 2014, adding that of those planes 25 would be for its subsidiary DBA, which it bought in August.

The list price for the 85 planes is $5.7 billion.

They should have gone for the 787.

    Just my uneducated opinion.

This is getting interesting. With Boeing's 822 current orders, this order plus the Korean order (25) brings Boeing's total up to 907. A few orders here and there, and Boeing could go over 1,000 again.
